Emap	Emap stands for East Midland Allied press and can also be known as Top right group and this is a British media company. Their magazines have a target audience for business people for organising events and conferences. They present their magazines in a formal layout, which could be mistaken, more for a newspaper rather than a magazine. Conde Nast	Conde Nast is a United States company however they have a company over here in the United Kingdom. Conde Nast is a music, fashion and beauty magazine and compared to Emap it has a magazine layout and is targeting generally young woman and the layout of the magazine is a lot more informal and a lot of vibrant colours is used. This publisher has the world’s well-known magazines for example the US magazines: VOGUE and GLAMOUR and UK magazines such as GQ British.
Natmags	Natmags is abbreviation from National Magazine Company and it is also known as Hearst magazines UK as they have expanded out and bought the company Handbag.com and then launched their own called Hearst Digital. The layout of the magazine is conventional to a magazine and the magazines value things like their style, fun and useful. They also have a lot of big branded magazines just like Conde Nast UK for example: BIZAAR, COSMOPOLITAN and ELLE.
IPC Media	IPC Media has a range of different styles of magazines ranging from the like of NME, amateur Photographer, and Good to Know Recipes and HOMES AND GARDENS. The layout of the magazines fit in with the conventions of magazines, they are not as bright and fun as Natmag’s magazines however they have a more specific audience for each magazine rather than general like Natmags.
Future Publishing	Future Publishing is also known as Future PLC. Again they are a company with a range of different groups: Technology, Entertainment, Music, Creativity, Sport and Auto and in them different styles for example: Total Film, Mollie Makes, Imagine FX and Classic ROCK. They have many editions in the UK, US and Australia as well as online.
Bauer Media	Bauer Media is again a company with a big range of style for example: Closer, Improve Your Coarse Fishing and Steam Fishing. The layout of the magazines differ with the style of magazines however not al the magazines in this institution are as well known as some in there.
